Michael Zhao

Michael Zhao is a consultant for the Snider Consulting Group. He joined in the Fall of 2022 as a member of Cohort 5.

Michael is pursuing a BS in Finance with a minor in Computer Science at the Robert H. Smith School of Business and the College of Computer, Mathematical, and Natural Sciences at the University of Maryland. He has been recognized by the University of Maryland as a Banneker/Key Scholar. Michael is also a member of Cohort 40 of the QUEST Honors Program.

Michael specializes in teamwork, data analysis, and leading diverse teams as a result of his professional and academic experiences.

Outside of SCG, Michael is involved as founder and president of Product Space @ UMD, and is the co-chair of the Dean’s Student Advisory Council. He enjoys spending his free time researching fantasy football and watching soccer.
