Matthew Weirich

Matthew Weirich is a principal consultant for Snider Consulting Group. He joined in the Fall of 2022 as a member of Cohort 5.

Matthew is pursuing an Electrical Engineering degree on the pre-law track. He is also a part of the QUEST honors program cohort 39 and a peer mentor for the Electrical and Computer Engineering school.

Matthew has experience in leading teams, logic-based project design, entrepreneurship, innovation, and team building

Apart from SCG, Matthew is a peer mentor for the ECE department and a member of the QUEST honors program cohort 39. Outside of UMD, Matthew worked at the United States Naval Research Laboratory as a radar countermeasure hardware developer following his freshman year and will be joining ExxonMobil as an engineering intern this summer following his sophomore year. At home, Matthew Has started two successful businesses: One is a pop-up fine dining restaurant out of his home called restaurant confluence, and a landscaping business called Weirich Landscaping.
