Jessica Cerkovnik is an analyst for Snider Consulting Group. She joined in the Fall of 2022 as a member of Cohort 5.
Jessica is pursuing a BS in Finance and Operations Management & Business Analytics. She is a part of the Business Society and Economy Scholars Program (Peer Mentor and Engagement Chair on the Student Board) and the Finance Fellows Program (Member).
Jessica’s areas of expertise include research, data analytics, marketing initiative implementation, and financial analysis. She has adapted these skills through past internships, professional experiences, and academic work.
Outside of SCG, Jessica is VP of Administration and a Research Associate within the Smith Investment Fund where she has gained valuable skills in financial modeling, valuation, and company pitching. She is a Stamp Student Union Employee and has also competed in three case competitions (2 consulting and 1 investment banking). She is a former member of the Women in Finance Mentorship Program, Consult Your Community Program and Women in Business Association. At UMD, Jessica enjoys playing intramural volleyball and going to all types of group fitness classes.
Previously, Jessica interned with the Do Good Institute where she worked to support various data analysis and benchmarking projects to assess fundraising, marketing efforts, and giving trends at this social impact organization. She will be participating in the Girls Who Invest Summer 2023 Intensive Program and then will follow this experience with a 7-week paid internship on a top asset management investment team.
