Sriya Sogal
Sriya Sogal is a consultant for Snider Consulting Group. She joined in Spring 2024 as part of Cohort 8.
At UMD, Sriya is pursuing a double major in Computer Science and Public Policy.
Sriya's strengths include problem-solving, critical thinking, creativity, and curiosity, grown through her diverse academic and professional journey.
At UMD, she is involved with the School of Public Policy as an undergraduate ambassador, Dean's Student Advisory Council, and part of the first cohort of the Thurgood Marshall Fellows. She is also an active member in Kappa Theta Pi, UMD's co-ed professional technology fraternity, Association for Women in Computing, and the University Student Judiciary. In her free time, she enjoys creating art, reading, and playing tennis.
Sriya's professional experience includes working at non-profits including Shanti Bhavan Children's Project and the Global Cyber Alliance. She is interning at the University of Maryland this semester, as a venture capital intern for its various VC pre-seed company funds.
