Sebastian decady

Sebastian Decady is consultant for Snider Consulting Group. He joined in Spring 2024 as part of Cohort 8.


At UMD, Sebastian is pursuing a double major in Finance and Economics.


Sebastian’s strengths include ideation, critical thinking, client relation, market analysis, problem solving, and collaboration. 


Outside of SCG, he is heavily involved within the Smith Business School as an inaugural cohort member of SBLF, former Vice president of Administration for the Black Business Association, and member of the Smith business Academy. Outside of business he’s the Keeper of Exchequer for his fraternity, Kappa Alpha Psi, and a member of QUEST Honor (Cohort 41). He has also participated in multiple case competitions, including the Deloitte Case Competition,  Smith Finance Group x Stifel Case Competition, and SBLF Case Competition. In his free time Sebastian enjoys to playing soccer, volleyball, listening to podcasts, photography, drawing, watching Netflix, and exploring surrounding restaurants and museums. 


Sebastian professional experiences so far includes working as an Risk and Financial Advisory Intern with Deloitte, Non profit consultant with BCG. His upcoming plans this summer include Working with Energy Innovation Capital as a VC intern, in addition to returning to Deloitte as RFA intern. Finally, in the summer of 2025 working with Morgan Stanley in the Public Finance Investment Banking division in NYC.
