Miranda Chung is a Vice-Chairman on the Board of Trustees for the Snider Consulting Group and is the Director of Finance within the organization. She is a member of cohort 3, joining SCG in the Fall of 2021.
Miranda graduated a year early with a BS in Information Systems in May 2023 and is currently pursuing a MS in Information Systems through Smith’s Plus 1 program.
Miranda’s areas of expertise include data analysis, web design, and research.
As an undergrad, Miranda was involved in Smith’s Dean's Student Advisory Council, VP of Strategy and Operations in the Smith Undergraduate Student Association (SUSA), a member of the Information Technology and Business Transformation Fellows (iTBT), Teaching Assistant, and Smith Ambassador.
As a graduate student, Miranda is working as a teaching assistant for BMGT302 and a Graduate Assistant for the Smith School.
Outside of UMD, Miranda works in the asset management space. She is a Girls Who Invest alumna and has previously interned at Morgan Stanley Investment Management doing high-yield credit research and PGIM Fixed Income as a portfolio analysis investment analyst on the emerging markets desk.
