Ibraheem Shaikh
Ibraheem Shaikh is a consultant for Snider Consulting Group. He joined SCG as a member of Cohort 11 in the Fall of 2025.
Ibraheem is pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science. He is also a member of the Interdisciplinary Business Honors (IBH) program.
Ibraheem excels in team environments where he can learn from others and contribute to team success. With an organizational mindset and enthusiasm for technology projects, he embraces calculated risks to develop solutions that make meaningful differences in people’s lives.
Outside SCG, Ibraheem is a Quantitative Developer for Smith Investment Fund, and is involved with two research projects with Professor Michel Cukier and with Professor Haizhao Yang respectively. He also enjoys attending meetings for the UMD Boxing Club, Latin Dance Club, and Muslim Student Association.
Outside UMD, Ibraheem is currently interning as a Software Engineer at AfterQuery, a startup backed by YCombinator. In his free time he loves to play basketball, listen to music, go to the gym, snowboard, and spend time with friends.
