Diya Sinha is a consultant for the Snider Consulting Group. She joined SCG in Spring 2022 as a member of cohort 4.
Diya is pursuing a BS in Operations Management & Business Analytics and Finance from the University of Maryland, College Park. She was a member of the Language program within the Carillon Communities, which she completed in Spring 2021. She is also a member of the Sophomore Finance Fellows and Wall Street Finance Fellows at the Robert H. Smith School of Business.
Diya’s areas of expertise include data analysis, research, and statistical modeling.
Outside of SCG, Diya is on the executive board of the Smith Undergraduate Student Association (SUSA) where she serves as the Vice President of Finance. She also acts as the Vice President of External Affairs for Ascend, an Asian business association. Diya is currently the travel coordinator on the Operations team for Technica, the world's largest hackathon for underrepresented genders. She has participated in a couple of case competitions, including the University of Maryland Deloitte Case Competition. In her free time, Diya enjoys playing volleyball and traveling.
Outside of UMD, Diya previously interned at OPEX as a finance intern and currently is at Holman as a Portfolio Management summer intern.
